Columbia Livestock Market Report

2/23/26 - 565 hd

Cattle were pretty steady weak this week. Slaughter cows & bulls steady,
replacement cows continued to be in demand. Heavier feeders over

550 were steady Lighter calves under 550, 5–30 dollars lower.
As always this time of year – grazing & weather are also impact on

spring light calves.

 

No fundamental reason for cattle not to continue steady 

strong throughout this year. Big question is what event will effect
the future we don’t know about. The following “Beef Wire”

comments what we are up against in industry and how
it affects prices.
