Columbia Livestock Market Report

All classes of cattle were steady with support in several classes
with bombing, stock market sell off, packing plant kill reductions,

employees threatening strikes, high fuel and still uncertainty of

tariffs. The cash market of cattle is holding extremely well.

​

Finished product (box beef prices) are on rise again which

supports fat cattle prices and effects prices to feeders

and calves.

​

The ups and downs are not as significant in the record

prices as it would be in a low market. Maybe we will level off

at a level all phases of industry can profit and maintain

consumer demand.
